Saturday! I—
- wandered back and forth between bed and my computer for all the hours between 9am and 2pm
- then I showered. It was a bit cold but the pressure was awesome
- after that, I ate leftover fish lasagne for lunch
- me and C made a terrific stew out of gravy beef, potato, carrot, kumara, onion, garlic, coriander seeds, worcestershire sauce, black pepper, marjoram, thyme, and steinlager
- no seriously, terrific
- we ate it with bread. It was choice
- I read a lot of fic
- I also played 2 games of Civ IV
- we folded washing while watching music videos on C4
- I uploaded a bunch of stuff, which took ages (but I really like babbling about music, so)
- I changed my sheets, yay
- tobias turned up for headscritching, cuddles, and food several times

I'm not very used to having the house to myself any more. When I was flatting with
jessikast it was commonplace - she spent about half her nights at
laputain's, and so I was used to pottering around on her laptop and listening to music and not talking for hours and hours and hours. But all three of us here are single and, as a consequent, not out overnight too often, and - it's very, very strange. Kind of nice, but strange.
One of my plans for the Easter holiday was to do laundry. I am very very bad at keeping up to date - or being up to date at all - with my laundry, so the fact that I exerted myself to do five loads today (with three to go, I think) AND hang them out AND finish them off in the dryer AND fold them AND put it all away is something of a miracle. It's nice when plans come to fruition.
Aside from that, I've not done much - knitted half a peggy square and got rid of the rubbish in my room and played a very satisfying game of civ iii. I had vague intentions of starting polyester crochet wrist-warmers, but got distracted by the internet instead; C. made hot cross bun bread (same recipe, but baked as a loaf) which is delicious but which I cannot eat an entire slice of - it's all spicy and dense and Easter-ish, and not at all appropriate for the spreading of nutella thereon. But nutella!
Also I had really skeezy dinner - I boiled some pasta and then poured a tin of satay tuna on top and mixed it all about and omg it was so bad I couldn't eat it all.
Isn't life interesting? Isn't it grand and fun and wonderful?*
* The answer, by the way, is yes.
